Policy Manual

Registration & Tuition Policy

Students can register for courses either in person or online. Full tuition must be paid before beginning any in-person course.

There is no charge for Continuing Education, Salesperson Post-License, or Provisional Sales courses.

We provide a receipt at the time of payment and keep a copy for our records. To register, students may need to provide a photo ID and/or their licensee pocket card.

Advantage Real Estate Academy keeps transcripts for all students who complete courses approved by the Arkansas Real Estate Commission or the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission.

Attendance & Sign-In Requirements

For Arkansas Courses

Students attending Arkansas courses must sign in twice each day—once before class begins and again after the lunch break. Some classes may follow different procedures.

If a student returns more than 10 minutes late from any break, they must make up a full hour before receiving credit or a certificate of completion.

Certificates of completion are issued at the end of each course, as determined by the Real Estate Commission in that state. For Arkansas students, Advantage Real Estate Academy will submit the certificate to the Commission. However, it is the student’s responsibility to notify the Commission of all completed courses.

For Oklahoma CE and Post-License Courses

Oklahoma students must sign in before class starts and complete the QR code registration at the end of class. Both steps are required.

If either step is missed, the student will not receive credit for the course—even if they were present for the entire session.

Salesperson Pre-License Course Requirements

To register for the Salesperson Pre-License course, a student must:

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Be of good moral character

  • Complete the required classroom hours for pre-licensing

Once all requirements are met, students will receive a certificate of completion. This certificate serves as verification that the student has completed the course as required and approved by the appropriate Real Estate Commission.

Course Materials for Pre-License Classes

The required textbook for the Pre-License course is Modern Real Estate Practice (21st Edition) by Dearborn Real Estate.

Students will receive handouts or binders with class materials as needed. You’re encouraged to bring your own note-taking supplies and an inexpensive calculator with a percent key for class use.

Some courses may also require a laptop or tablet, so please check in advance.

Refund Policy

A full tuition refund is available if a student cancels their registration at least 48 hours before the course start date.

If a student does not cancel within 48 hours, or fails to attend the course, no refund will be issued.

If a student starts a course but does not complete it, there is no refund.

In cases of emergency or crisis, Advantage Real Estate Academy may, at its sole discretion, issue a partial or full refund based on a case-by-case review.

Please note:

  • No refunds will be given if the course was offered at no cost

  • Textbook purchases are non-refundable

  • If a student enrolls, but then finds out that they are not eligible to obtain a Real Estate license based on their immigration status, no refund will be given.  Students are responsible to check their eligibility status prior to enrollment.
