Your 18-hour post-licensing course not only comprehensively reviews the basics you learned in your earlier studies—it also takes a deep dive into applying these concepts to your everyday real estate practice. Broken into three six-hour modules—Practical Application of Agency and Disclosure, Real Estate Contracts, and From Contract to Closing—the post-licensing content is designed specifically for newly practicing salespersons who want to connect the dots between agency types and ethical agency dilemmas, contract law and actually filling out a contract form, and closing documents and the people you’ll actually meet on the road from contract to closing.
The course meets Arkansas’s mandatory requirement for the 18-hour Post-Licensing Course for Salespersons.
This OREC-approved, 45-hour Post-License Course is required for new real estate Sales Associates in their first license renewal cycle.
The course covers all aspects of Real Estate Finance, methods used to evaluate all types of investment properties and the management of investment real estate and tools and strategies to embrace the cyclical market and exceed buyer expectations from first contact through transaction closing.
Note: Per OREC Rules, students have six months from registration to complete this post-license course.
Within the first two years of obtaining your Texas real estate license, you must have a total of 270 qualifying real estate course hours. If you obtained your license by submitting 180 hours of qualifying courses, you must complete 90 hours of Salesperson Apprentice Education (SAE) courses, and 4 hours each in Legal Update I and Legal Update II. The new sales agent may also need to take the 6-HOUR BROKER RESPONSIBILITY course to satisfy SAE requirements if their broker has assigned them to be a supervisor prior to SAE renewal. *Effective 10/1/23 the 30-hour Real Estate Brokerage course must also be completed as part of the SAE requirements. Courses are provided in partnership between VanEd (TREC Provider #4575) and our parent company 360training (TREC Provider #4591).
Additionally, TREC requires all students to complete each course final exam in the presence of a proctor. With our RECORDED PROCTORING SERVICE (RPS), students can quickly complete their courses and fulfill this requirement anywhere they have access to a webcam, microphone, and internet connection.
