The Oklahoma Real Estate Commission (OREC) requires all licensed real estate agents to complete ongoing education to help protect the public and maintain high standards in the industry.
Here’s what you need to know:
To keep your license active, you must complete 30 hours of Continuing Education (CE) every three years. That’s it—30 hours over a three-year period to stay in good standing and eligible for renewal.
Required Courses
Before your license renewal date, you must complete:
1 hour each in:
Broker Relationship Act
OREC Code and Rules
Fair Housing
Current Industry Issues (Hot Topic)
3 hours in:
Professional Conduct (Code of Ethics)
6 hours in:
Contracts and Forms
The remaining 17 hours can be from either required or elective courses.
